Description
Jewellery is alive. It doesn’t belong in drawers or museum display cases, it belongs on the body. Munich based photographer Eva Jünger knows this. In her photo series „keep an eye of something or two“, she shows what happens when jewellery and the body come together. Her starting point are the jewellery pieces of New Zealand artist Lisa Walker. Jünger however, has not simply depicted the jewellery, she has interpreted it. Walker’s earrings, necklaces and bracelets became a source of inspiration for photographs that convey Jünger’s own artistic statements, interpretation and emotion.
