‘Every concept, every notion, every emotion that is evoked in the beholder’s eye while looking at a piece of art is true’, says Kadri Mälk of her work. Poetic, wild and dark yet never melancholic, her jewellery is predominantly black – wood, hair and jet – punctuated with accents of colour from gemstones and precious metals.

Testament reviews both Mälk’s work from the last ten years and offers readers insight into her life and her philosophy on  the emotional relationship between jewellery and wearer. With contributions from Tamara Luuk and Tanel Veenre and haunting, detailed photographt by Tiit Rammul.
