Lucy Sarneel passed away

Lucy’s relentless optimism was contagious, infecting everyone around her, and was a ray of hope for me when things were not going well for a while. She said recently that, without her optimism, her illness would have long since won.

Only a few weeks ago it became clear that the end was coming very close. After years of fighting cancer, Lucy Sarneel died on 28 December 2020.

This marks the end of more than 31 years of close cooperation and friendship.

She leaves behind so much beauty.

I wish Jelle, Niki and Anna great strength with this immense loss.
