Aaron Decker is a jewellery artist based in Ypsilanti, near Detroit. Working with brightly coloured enamels, he treats his jewellery with irreverence and a child-like freedom. Growing up on military bases across the US, he describes his practice as ‘an idyllic take on the rebel kid stuck in his room drawing flowers, tanks, guns, and rings.’ 

Aaron completed his MFA at Cranbrook Academy of Art in Michigan in 2015. That same year he was one of the recipients of the Marzee Graduate Prize and also received the Mercedes-Benz Financial Services Emerging Artist Award. Since then, his work has been shown in exhibitions in the USA, Netherlands, Germany, Czech Republic and China.
