Inspired by the world of recycling, Doron uses objects that dispense with their origins and become part of something completely different. He combines these objects with a multitude of fastenings, from buttons and studs to snaps and zips to create rings using a collage-like technique.

Born in Tel Aviv in 1980, Doron Taubenfeld holds a degree in jewellery from Shenkar College of Engineering and Design in Ramat-Gan in Israel.
