Eiman Rezaei
‘I believe making is the opposite continuum of communication. Expression precedes the spoken word and silence is the undercurrent of both human capacities.’ This is the premise on which Eiman Rezaei constructs his jewellery. He hopes his pieces will catalyse a visceral experience in the playground of intuition. Jewellery, he says, signifies the most fundamental human desire for motion and his articulated wooden neckpieces are an eloquent expression of this impulse.
Born in Tehran in 1980, Eiman Rezaei holds a bachelor’s from the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque and a master’s in Jewelry and Metalsmithing from Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) in Providence in the US.
